Lajna Ima’illah Canada held its 3rd National Nau Muba’iat Ijtima on April 12, 2026 bringing together new converts from across Canada for a day focused on spiritual growth, connection, and community-building. Held at Baitul Islam Mosque and Tahir Hall, the event created a welcoming and supportive environment where participants could openly share experiences, strengthen their understanding of faith, and build lasting relationships within the Jama’at.
The Ijtima was organized with the support of National Amila members, volunteers, and secretaries, whose efforts helped create a meaningful experience for attendees. Alongside new converts, family members and volunteers also participated throughout the day’s activities, with an attendance of over 60 Lajna participants.
The program opened with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, and Ahadith followed by a video message from Beloved Huzoor (aa) addressing the experiences and spiritual journeys of new converts to Islam.
One of the most impactful portions of the event was a panel discussion featuring members who had joined the Jama’at as Nau Mubai’at years earlier, during which participants openly discussed personal journeys of faith and identity. The discussion included candid conversations about early religious and family-related challenges. It provided a safe space to share personal experiences of embracing Islam Ahmadiyyat and navigating the challenges of spiritual growth and integration.
Nau Mubai’at sisters also participated in the Ijtima in Qur’anic recitation, memorization, and speech competitions, providing participants with an opportunity to develop confidence and encourage their spiritual learning. Following the formal session, attendees gathered in Tahir Hall for congregational prayer and lunch followed by activities and interactive games to get to know one another. Members exchanged contact information, formed new friendships, and proposed ideas for future initiatives.
Several participants expressed appreciation for the openness and encouragement they experienced throughout the day. With continued growth and broader participation, the Nau Mubai’at department looks to continue to further empower and connect the Nau Mubai’at sisters across Canada.
