National Lajna Majlis Amila Hosts Eid Outreach Event
On March 29, 2026, National Majlis A’amila organized an intimate Tabligh event on the theme “Eid Celebration and Learn More About Islam,” bringing together community members for an evening of dialogue, education, and outreach.
The event was attended by 17 guests, alongside 11 Lajna hosts and 13 National Amila members.
Discussions throughout the program focused on addressing common questions about Islam, including the benefits of learning about religion, the diversity of sects within Islam and an introduction to the teachings of Islam Ahmadiyyat. It also featured an interactive session on women’s rights and equality in Islam.
Guests found the event both informative and insightful. Many were particularly surprised to learn about the significant role of Hazrat Khadijah (ra), including her proposal to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and her distinction as the first person to accept Islam.
Another message highlighted during the event was the Islam’s emphasis on service to humanity and the dual responsibility of fulfilling the rights of God and fulfilling the rights of mankind. In line with this principle, Lajna Ima’illah Canada presented a $10,000 donation cheque to Hill House Hospice in support of compassionate end-of-life care. The afternoon concluded with a guided tour of the Baitul Islam Mosque, and special dinner in celebration of Eidul Fitr, providing further opportunity for community building and informal discussion.
