Jalsa Khilafat at Baitul Badi Mosque, Innisfil

By the grace of Allah, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Innisfil held its Jalsa Khilafat on 23 May 2026 at Baitul Badi Mosque. The programme opened at 6:45pm with dinner and closed at 9:00pm with Maghrib and Isha prayers. More than 125 members attended, gathering in an atmosphere of spirituality, unity and gratitude for the blessed institution of Khilafat.

Among those present were Kaleem Ahmad Malik Sahib, Na’ib Amir and National Secretary Wasaya, and Saadat Joyia Sahib, National Secretary Zira’at.

The evening gave attendees an opportunity to reflect on the history, blessings and significance of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya, and to strengthen their bond with Khilafat through knowledge, reflection and prayer.

Highlights of the Programme

The formal session began with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by its English and Urdu translations. This opening set a spiritual tone and reminded those present of the guidance contained within the Holy Qur’an.

A young Tifl then presented a Nazm, followed by its English translation, drawing out themes of devotion, obedience and love for Khilafat.

Presentations on the Khulafa-e-Ahmadiyyat

Five Atfal delivered presentations on the lives and services of the five Khulafa of the Promised Messiah (as). Each highlighted the contributions, sacrifices and achievements of a Khalifa, and showed how Khilafat has continued to guide and strengthen the Jama’at throughout its history.

Main Address

The keynote address was delivered by Kaleem Ahmad Malik Sahib, Na’ib Amir and National Secretary Wasaya. He spoke on the importance of maintaining a strong connection with Khilafat, obedience to the Khalifa of the time, and the blessings that flow from unity under this divinely guided institution.

He reminded attendees that Khilafat is a source of spiritual guidance, unity and progress for the Jama’at, and encouraged everyone to strengthen their relationship with Khilafat through prayer, obedience and active service to the faith. He also urged members to demonstrate their love for Khilafat by regularly listening to Huzur’s (aba) Friday Sermon.

Interactive Kahoot Session

The programme concluded with an engaging Kahoot quiz, which allowed Atfal and Nasirat to test and reinforce their knowledge of the Khulafa-e-Ahmadiyyat and the history of Khilafat. The activity was enjoyed by attendees of all ages and added an educational and enjoyable element to the evening. Prizes were awarded to the top three position holders.

Community Impact

The Jalsa Khilafat served as a reminder of the blessings of Khilafat and its central role in the continued success and unity of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at. Through recitations, presentations, addresses and interactive learning, members gained a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices and achievements of the Khulafa, and renewed their commitment to remain firmly attached to Khilafat.

By the grace of Allah, the event was a great success and reflected the dedication, enthusiasm and unity of the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Innisfil.
