The Ahmadiyya Muslim Business Association (AMBA) held its first official conference on December 6, 2025, drawing more than 120 in-person attendees and 40 online participants to Aiwan Tahir in Vaughan.
The event featured keynote addresses, roundtable discussions and an exhibition showcasing nearly 20 businesses. Entrepreneurs from sectors including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and woodworking exchanged insights on market challenges and opportunities for collaboration.
Abdul Haleem Tayyab, Chairman of AMBA, emphasized the spiritual foundation of business success in his opening remarks. “Lasting success comes by following Islamic ethics and maintaining trust and service to humanity in every business venture,” he said.
Kalim Bhatti, Chairman of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Trade Association, delivered the keynote address, highlighting efforts to guide new entrepreneurs and build professional networks across Canada.
Farhan Malik, Vice Chairman of AMBA, outlined the organization’s mission. “AMBA is committed to helping members reach professional excellence while contributing positively to the broader Canadian economy and community,” he said.

AMBA was formally approved by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aba) as an auxiliary body dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, professional excellence and ethical business leadership among Ahmadi Muslims in Canada.
The conference was organized by a team including Farhan Malik providing oversight, Azmat Bhatti as chief coordinator, Atiq Ahmed leading setup and logistics, Tahir Ahmed managing subscriptions and finance, Umar Ahmed handling program and registration, Ahmed Butter overseeing mentorship, Luqman Ahmed coordinating sponsorships, Muzammil Ahmed serving as master of ceremonies, Zohaib Azmat managing audio and video, and Touqir Bokhari arranging food service.
Looking ahead, AMBA aims to build a network of Ahmadi entrepreneurs through mentorship, leadership development and ethical guidance. The organization seeks to develop professionals capable of achieving excellence while upholding trust, social responsibility and spiritual values.
The conference concluded with silent prayers led by Naib Amir Farhan Khokhar.
