By the grace of Allah, very successful and a blessed event of Taqreeb-e-Ameen was held at 6:15PM after the Asr prayer at Mubarak Mosque, Brampton. It was presided over by respected Abdul Jabbar Zafar Sahib, National Secretary Ta‘limul Qur’an Waqf-e-Ārḍī, AMJ Canada. The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by its English and Urdu translation.

A total of 23 children participated—9 girls and 14 boys—who completed their Nazra Qur’an this year. The girls, followed by the boys, had the opportunity to recite portions of the Holy Qur’an before Muhtaram Abdul Jabbar Zafar Sahib. He also led the Khatm-ul-Qur’an Du‘a and silent prayer.

A gift package was presented to each child, which included a copy of the Holy Qur’an with English translation, a scarf for girls, a pen for boys, chocolates, packed dates, and a framed certificate. A notable aspect of this event was that all parents were present, and mothers, in particular, made great efforts to make this occasion successful for their children. It is especially worth mentioning that a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, who had difficulty communicating, successfully completed the Nazra of the Holy Qur’an and also participated in this Taqreeb-e-Ameen.

The total attendance was 485 (150 men, 80 women, and 255 online viewers). The event concluded at approximately 7:20PM, just before Iftar.

Following the ceremony, very positive feedback was received from parents, who appreciated the efforts of the entire team of the Ta‘limul Qur’an Waqf-e-‘Ārḍī Department, BRW Jama‘at.

Please find attached some pictures to accompany this report. May Allah the Almighty blesses all the children and their parents and reward them abundantly.
