Jama’at Moncton Holds Jalsa Khilafat

by May 31, 2026

Members of Jama’at Moncton gathered on Saturday, 23rd May 2026, for a Jalsa Khilafat marking the blessings of Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya. Members of Jama’at Prince Edward Island joined the proceedings online.

The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Danial Shams Sahib, who recited verses 55 to 57 of Surah An-Nur, the verses that carry the Divine promise of Khilafat. The choice was fitting for the occasion, setting the tone for an evening centred on the institution of Khilafat. The English translation was read by Fawaz Bello Sahib and the Urdu translation by Aadin Sanouri Sahib.

The Qaseeda was then presented by Hisham Alburaki Sahib, with its English translation read by Danial Alburaki Sahib. The Arabic Qaseeda of the Promised Messiah (as) is itself a testament to his divinely granted command of the language. The Qaseeda is an expression of his profound and absolute love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). It is a spiritual masterpiece and a sign of divine inspiration.

Ahmed Bello Sahib conducted a Kahoot quiz, which proved a fun and informative segment for the children. It gave the younger attendees, including those joining online, an engaging way to take part in the evening while learning more about the subject at hand.

The keynote speech was delivered by Muslehuddin Shanboor Sahib, who spoke on the blessings of Khilafat. He placed particular emphasis on obedience to the Khalifa-e-Waqt, pointing to the daily special prayers prescribed by Huzur (may Allah be his Helper) as a practical example of how members can act on that obedience.

The gathering concluded with a question and answer session and closing remarks led by Wissam AlBuraki Sahib and Muslehuddin Shanboor Sahib, after which silent prayer was offered.
